Several dozen militants against the ad invasion were brought before the Paris judges in March 2004. They were arrested in the Paris metro, during several missions where they attacked, destroyed, or damaged advertising in the underground. The militant action started with a simple internet forum, in october 2003, to "recover the advertising space" of the Paris metro. The militants nave several concerns, among wich "merchandizing of the world", "generalized decline of socia protection", "revamping retirement", "schools sold to the merchants" "two-speed health system". A broad program, with uncertain origins from a group of "teachers, unemployed, occasionally employed, health workers, archeologists, civil servants, students, architects, etc..."
